With many of us collecting keys to our new BTO flats, we are often met with anticipation yet curiosity on how we can personalise our otherwise standard apartment layouts into real homes that we could uniquely call our own.
We had the honor of working with one such couple who endeavoured to partner closely with us to discuss options on how we could creatively blend different furnishing materials to create an entirely different experience that would delight or surprise guests.
To create this unique effect, we chose to combine hexogonal tiles with vinyl floor boards at the main entrance before leading into the living room. This helped to create a special doorway entrance experience with minimal extra furnishings and accessories.
Leading into the living room, a soothing pastel toned wallpaper was chosen as a wall piece to accenturate an otherwise airy and spacious living area that spelt comfort and simplicity. Separated by a ceiling hung cabinet from the doorway, this helped to give it additional privacy while not sacrificing the whole spacious feel.
The Tiffany blue tinges apparent throughout the house, especially in the kitchen cabinets was the highlight of the house as it gave it a bright feel yet added a timeless touch to this modern and well-kept home. The functional island table separating the kitchen from the dining room also helped give the owners the extra space to grab a quick bite especially in the morning hours before work.
An overall cheery feel that made the home feel cosy yet modern that has appealed to the many visitors that have been invited into this beautiful first home.Back
