Our couple client took time to find this gem of a place, an old HUDC spilt level unit which had a very spacious layout but was in a very old condition when they first bought it. Together with our designers, they decided to tear down the previous old furnishings and rebuilt this 3 bedroom apartment into a Scandinavian themed home.
Starting off from the living and kitchen on the ground floor, we took on a woody feel with different wall colors accentuated by soothing color furnishings to add a cosy ambience to their favorite relaxation spot in the house. The kitchen space was kept bright and airy with lime colored cabinet panels and easy to maintain floor tiles to cater to their pets. For the couple to entertain their guests, the dining space was kept functional with a simple oakwood table and electic mix of chairs while adding a touch of nostalgia with the old biscuit tin cleverly converted into a tissue box.
The master bedroom was kept bright and airy to allow lots of natural light into the room yet aesthetically pleasing with a simple twist in the wardrobe panels slated design. To allow for plenty of corners for quiet reading and relaxation, both the guestrooms and even the little corridor corner in the living room area has been decorated with lots of soft quirky cushions for the couple or friends visiting to chitchat and dwell over coffee in a corner.
